I have known Mindy for more than a decade and I trust her completely. When I saw that she had started her Live Healthy with Mindy website, I decided to check it out. I had been dieting on and off for the past 4 years. My lifetime peak weight was over 200 pounds, though I can't say exactly, because I avoided scales like the plague for many years. I started gradually changing my eating habits and dieting in January of 2005, and on my own I lost about 60 pounds and got to an all time low weight of 137 in January of 2007. From there, I began to yo-yo, gaining weight and loosing it again over the next two years. If I was able to maintain my original "goal weight" of 150, I was okay. The breaking point for me was when I found that I had gained more than 15 pounds during the holidays in 2008. My weight had crept up to about 167 and I knew I had to do something. I have made peace with the fact that I'm not a thin person, and I am happy if I can maintain a weight of 150. Beginning in January, I made efforts to loose weight by counting calories and monitoring my carb intake, but I still wasn't loosing any weight.
In June of 2009 I decided that I could no longer blame my excess pounds on "holiday weight" and I decided to become proactive. I looked at Mindy's site and I checked out the 14 day free trial of The Healthy Edge, after reading the positive results that Mindy has to share about her Healthy Edge experience. I really liked the idea that The Healthy Edge is not a "diet". It's a lifestyle and I really liked the idea of learning healthier eating and living habits. I went into the Healthy Edge with gusto, and went home the first day and cleaned out my cabinets and fridge, tossing anything that was not "Healthy Edge Approved". I found that my grocery bills were much lower, because I started buying raw fruits and vegetables, and stopped buying all of the "100 Calorie" packs of miscellaneous products and "diet" foods. This was starting to look like a better and better idea.
I did the cleanse the first week, on Mindy's recommendation, to kick my carb and sugar cravings. I lost 5 pounds in that first week! Then I gradually lost the rest of the 15 pounds I set out to release over the next 6 weeks. I was ecstatic and telling all of my friends about how much better I felt and how effective this plan that Mindy introduced me to was for me! It's not a diet, it's a healthier way to live your life, and with Mindy's wonderful coaching skills for those first 8 weeks, I was able to develop some truly life changing healthy habits! Mindy was able to coach me to pair foods together and motivate me to improve on my daily eating and exercising habits. She was a fantastic positive influence and helped me very much to be successful on my Healthy Edge journey!
Now, I'm 4 months into living The Healthy Edge lifestyle, and without even trying, I've lost another 5 pounds past my original goal! I found that it was quite an adjustment, getting into the Healthy Edge lifestyle and implementing the habits they encourage. I don't know if I would have been as successful without Mindy's supportive coaching! Now I don't have to think about eating every 3 hours, my body tells me, if I forget. I know what snacks are healthy choices and I truly enjoy the recipes that I've picked up on my journey! Thanks to Mindy Mosser and The Healthy Edge, I no longer have to diet, I simply have to live and enjoy my new life and all of the healthy habit's I've adopted!

"It has been nearly 1 year since I joined the Healthy Edge. I feel the best I have felt in a long time. I released 18 - 20 pounds, don't remember exactly. Clothes that were too tight, now fit fine and even loose. I've dropped 1 size. BUT remember, everything was very tight before!!!!!!!! I have more energy and feel great. The program was easy to follow. I still have my 1 shake a day - usually for breakfast. We are currently on vacation and a couple mornings this week we've gone out for breakfast instead of having our shakes- it tasted good, but I felt more draggy during the day. We have a Miinnie Winnie motorhome, so food is easier that if staying in hotels, etc. We've come here for vacation for about 15 years. There are a few restaurants that are tradition to visit. Sorry, off the subject... I find the Healthy Edge lifestyle much easier to follow and continue than all the years on the point system (Weight Watchers). For all 3 times that I had hit life time goal with weight watchers, I never kept it all off as long as I have with the HE lifestyle. My beautician says my hair is in better condition - maybe she says that since it seems to grow faster! My fingernails also are in better condition - don't crack & split like before. Well, enough said. I think the Healthy Edge is the way to go --- it's helped me make a wonderful change in my life and I feel GREAT!"
